UTVs OK! Trailered Ride! Available on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. This ride will require transporting your ATV to the Lightening Ridge staging area. This trail will travel south along the old Apache Railway grade to Big Lake then over to the West Fork of Black River and then up the north side of Burro Mountain for a total of about 42 miles. Stop and get a cool drink from the North Spring while you take a break along the trail. This ride is rated “Intermediate” because of steep, rocky parts of the trail. Bring your sack lunch.
