UTVs OK! Trailered Ride! Available Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. On Wednesday – this ride will be for UTVs only! This ride is a scenic, photography ride that will give the rider who loves wildlife and beautiful scenery an opportunity to experience it up-close & personal! This ride requires transporting your ATV to Lightening Ridge staging area, approximately 30 miles from the rodeo grounds. The ride is about 45 miles long and will take you through our beautiful high country where John Wayne had his summer range for his 26-Ranch located in Eagar. An awesome overlook of Blackriver where Ike Clanton is supposedly buried will also be a treat. Some of the route will travel south on the old Apache Railway grade to the PS Ranch now owned by the Arizona Game & Fish. This ride will also include a visit to the PS Lookout Tower to experience some awesome views of the area. Bring a sack lunch. This ride is rated “Intermediate”.
