UTV’s OK! Difficulty: Beginner — 14 Miles Sipe Wildlife Area Tours

UTVs OK! Available Wednesday and Thursday only. 14 mile ride. The White Mountains of Arizona are well known for its Rocky Mountain trophy elk herd. Sipe’s Wildlife Area was created by the Arizona Game & Fish to allow visitors access to these incredible animals. This ride will leave from the rodeo grounds at 3:30 pm to enable participants to be at Sipe’s by 4:30 pm. Bruce Sitko with the Game & Fish will be your guide and give a short presentation and then hike with you a short ways (1/2 mile) to the wildlife viewing area. This is a prime time to view the bull elk at the start of his mating season or “rut”. Hearing a bull elk bugle is a thrill of a lifetime! Bring your binoculars, camera, flashlight, and make sure you have headlights on your ATV because you will be traveling back to the rodeo grounds in the dark.
